La tierra debe ser suelta y con buenos nutrientes para que la planta se pueda desarrollar, debemos elegir buenas semillas que estén aprobadas.
El riego de agua debe ser controlado para evitar accidentes, es una planta que debe cuidarse de algunas aves, insectos entre otros animales que la atacan.
En la época para cosechar el girasol se debe cortar con cuidado y así no vamos a dañar la parte donde van las semillas, podemos utilizar una herramienta especial.
