La mejor forma de tenerlos es en macetas o porrón, la tierra debe ser mas arena y con pequeñas piedras para mantener lo fresco.
Los podemos encontrar de distintos tamaños y formas, algunos alargados y otros redondos, son resistentes a los climas calidos y se adaptan al tropical.
La floración de los cactus es de las mas hermosas, algunas ocurren en horas de la mañana y otras al amanecer, ya cuando sale el sol se cierran.
