Nowadays fight against plastic pollution is increasing around the world because it has harmful effect on all living creatures.
In this article I will discuss on alternative to single use plastic.
PLASTIC STRAWS
Plastic straws are commonly used to drink some liquid and then we throw it. Since they are light weight, through water ways they enter into oceans and effects marine wildlife. They die after consuming these plastic wastes. I have seen many videos of such types.
There are ecofriendly alternative such as paper straws, reusable silicon straws. Best of all is that try not to use straws.
PLASTIC PLATES
As plastic plates are commonly used because they are cheap and handy when hosting parties. But after use when we throw them they end up in landfills which is harmful.
Use glass or porcelain plates instead of these plastic plates. Best alternative is use palm leaf or bamboo pulps plates.
PLASTIC CUTLERY
They are mostly used in parties and when disposed eaten by cows dogs and they die.
So please say no to plastic use and switch to reusable bamboo utensils.
Almost half a trillion plastic water bottles are purchased and consumed each year and nearly 7% are recycled every year.
So from today take a pledge not to use plastic because it's not only harmful for us but it is also harmful for other inocent creatures. Think about there life also. If you want to suggest something else comments are welcome.
