Cheddar + Cointiply is where it is at for passive BTC earnings

in #play2earn11 hours ago

Cointiply is one of those sites that I forgot about way back when but luckily I had coins there still earning interest. I got back into about the time I got back into Hive so I wanted to share it all with you guys too in case you were unfamiliar with it.

What is Cointiply?

If you are unfamiliar with Cointiply let me educate you. If you already know then skip this section.

Cointiply is in a nutshell just another website where you can do surveys, games, etc and earn their in-game token (called coins) and you can withdraw those coins for various cryptocurrencies.

If you are a mobile user think of the app called "Mistplay". I am sure you have seen those ads somewhere at this point. "Just play games and each Giftcards" blah blah blah.

But Cointiply is different. You redeem for actual crypto and there are so many options to earn from them.

Personally I only do the following:

  1. Roll the Faucet (I do this once a day in my morning tasks rotation because you get a bonus for each consecutive day you perform this task)

  2. View PTC Ads (I do this if I am bored. Usually its opening a webpage of ads or crap for 30-60 seconds then closing the tab and solving a quick puzzle. It is not the highest paying action but its semi quick to do while doing other work)

  3. Redeem Promo Code (If you have the mobile app, they will send you notifications every once in a while with a promo code for a hundred or 2 coins).

  4. Watch Videos (this is Cheddar, more on that later)

Coins are kind of like a stable coin.

Every 100 coins equals $0.01

Every 1,000 coins equals $0.10

Every 10,000 coins equals $1.00

What is Cheddar?

Cheddar is a website that plays videos. Think of YouTube on constant play. You will have to create a account on Cheddar.tv and then also sync it to your Cointiply account. It is super simple.

Here is what it looks like. (In this screenshot it is playing a ad)

I am lucky to have a decent computer with two 27 inch monitors side by side. So I have this on the right half of my right monitor playing 24/7.

Every once in a while there will be a popup asking if you are still watching so you can't just have it running on a PC in your corner without a monitor attached (I already tried). But it plays videos and the will automatically play ads, and then will go back to videos. You can pick the 'playlist' of videos it plays. For me I picked a video of Fortnite I think and now it will keep playing various streamer videos that are streaming about different video games.

A lot of League of Legends official tournament games that get played, but honestly I never pay attention to them lol

As you "watch" the videos and ads you will earn "CHEESE" this is just a BS counter (I can't even call it a token) that counts up. When you want to, you can withdraw your CHEESE and I choose to withdraw it to Cointiply (since it is the only service I have it connected to).

Today I accumulated 2,520 CHEESE and was able to withdraw/convert that to 12,852 Coins in Cointiply.

If you can do that hard math..

That is $1.28 that I earned. How long did it take me to earn that? That is 7 days of it being up (plus a few computer reboots and also not clicking on the "Yes I am still watching" during the nights when I am not at my desk.

Withdrawing Coins for BTC!

Here is the game with Cointiply though. Your coins are 'backed' to the USD value. So it makes the most sense to withdraw your coins when the price of BTC is low. Because if I withdraw say $10 of BTC when BTC is worth $100,000 and then tomorrow the price lowers to $90,000, I just lost a lot of value.

But if you wait until BTC is $90,000 and cash out that $10 then when it rises up to $100,000 you will have more BTC. Easy Peasey Lemon Squeezy!

BUT WAIT!

Don't just withdraw willy nilly because the more coins you keep in your account the more passive coins you earn. Yup you read that right. Cointiply will pay you to keep your coins liquid and not withdrawn.

You will always want to keep 35,000 coins in your account no matter what but that is only $3.50 of coins so it's not a problem. The more you keep the more you earn though so that is a game inside of a game.

You can withdraw your coins as BTC, DOGE, DASH or LTC. I personally withdraw as BTC because it goes into my 'savings account'. I never spent/trade/swap my BTC. It just sits there and accumulates over time.

I know, let me put my money where my mouth is. How much have I earned from Cointiply?

See for yourself

I hid some numbers but from what is visible that is 0.013383 BTC I have earned from Cointiply with zero monetary investment, just time.

At time of writing that is worth $1,288.82

But I withdrew at different times so the $$ amount was different over time but that 0.013383 BTC is mine regardless of price today.

This is not financial advice or me telling you to go do anything in this post. This is just me bragging about a service I have used to earn Bitcoin and wanted to explain how others could try it if they want to test it out.

As far as I know there is no referral system for Cheddar
