Hello everyone to my share your battle challenge. This week the theme is Dragons. Dragon is a unique splinter since it has the ability to combine and cooperate with any other splinters in the game. With that being said they provide a ton of versatility and flexibility so your opponent can never predict you.

3. The battle and the line - up

based on the situation and the previous games of my opponent, I thought he will play fire with Tarsa and tons of sneak attacks. This is what led me to a conclusion to use the dragon splinter myself so I get that extra armor and I can attack at least twice with most of my cards. So on to the line - up now.
Summoner | first position | second position | third position | fourth position | fifth position | last position |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Drake of arnak | Djin chwala | Chaos agent(I put him in front so he can either abosrb opportunity attack or a snipe attack) | Serpentine spy | Tenyii striker | uraeus | radiated scorcher |
My opponent line - up:
Summoner | first position | second position | third position | fourth position | fifth position | last position |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Thaddius brood | Cursed slimeball | Cursed windeku | Riftwing | Undead badger | Death elemental | Silent Sha-Vi |
Let's talk about strategy
Based on the last 5 games of my opponent and the rule set I thought he will play fire which is why I decided to be as flexible as possible and play dragon alongside fire with some sneak attacks , thorns and opportunity. I wanted to kill his backline as fast as possible. I presumed that he will do the same thing and that is why I wanted to have extra armor than extra damage. But my opponent proved me wrong and decided to play death team with some sneak attacks on his own and thorns as well. And this is where the armor actually came in clutch, but before I show you why let's check out the dragon card that I am using:
As you can see Djin chwala provides tankiness with his 9 HP and 5 armor on the first level which makes him an amazing tank but combine this with the thorns ability ( when hit with a melee attack , does 2 damage to the attacker) you have a brilliant tank with good melee damage on hit and very useful ability that can kill the backline on its own.
4- The battle
you can watch the battle here
The battle begins with the summoners giving their buffs and debuffs.
As you can see my team is all backline damage oriented so if I don't take out his sneak attackers and his magic attacker fast I will be in trouble. It's a good thing that I have the extra armor that way my scorcher can absorb 2 attacks instead of 1 .
At the end of the first round you can already see that my "meat shields" are already dead due to the sneak and snipe attackers on the enemy side. But I also killed his first position card and damaged his Sha - Vi.
At the end of round 2 I have already taken care of 1 of his sneak attacker his windeku will die in the next attack and his sha - vi is on the brink of death.
With his only damage card left on the field he will need a miracle to turn the game around as I have 2 backline attackers ready to kill his last damage dealing card.
With the Riftwing being his only card left he can no longer damage any of my cards so its a matter of time before this game ends.
End result
The game resulted in a win for me with a pretty well organised strategy with a team full of both damage and tankiness to secure me the win.
My opinion and review
The dragon splinter is really fun and easy to use and can secure you many wins in both lower and higher level of gameplay. With its versatility and flexibility you can never get read by the opponent and you always have the upper hand in your games.
