You would wonder how pain can cause pleasure! It was C.S Lewis who wrote "God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: it is his megaphone to raise a deaf world."
A newborn child has to cry, for only in this way will his lungs expand. A doctor once told of a child who could not breathe when the child was born. In other to make the child breathe, he had to strike the baby with his hands so hard.
The mother must have thought that the doctor was cruel. But he was really doing the kindest thing possible
As with newborn babies whose lungs are contracted, so are our spiritual lungs. But through suffering God strikes us in love. Then our lungs expand and we can breathe and pray.
There are some prayer seasons I would never had known if God had not allowed me to pass through some war seasons in my life.
No matter what you are going through always remember when Chip Brogden wrote : 'it is not a question of God allowing or not allowing things to happen. It is part of living. Some things we do to ourselves, other things we do to each other.
Our father knows about every bird which falls on the ground, but he does not always prevent it from falling. What are we to learn from this?
"That our response to what happens is more important than what happens".
one man's experience drives him to curse God while another man's experience drives him to bless God.
Great men and women pass through pains as a necessary route to their promised land.
sometimes certain difficulties lead to new heights. Moreover it prepares us for what is ahead
Hmmmm strong words here @utomobong, pain is a necessity in life if we must conquer new grounds.
@dee-y over and out.
