In Slavic myths, the Pleiades are 7 sisters. Who were born from the union of Atlas Atlas (who holds the sky) and Plyonka (Pleyona in another Greek tradition. The latter was a snake. Atlas was expected to marry the Serpent, why he resisted and decided to defeat her, he went on a journey and defeated the snake with his sword. Leaving his a sword near a downed snake.
The sword freed the snake from the enchantment, and she took up her kingdom, which flourished. But one day, having met Atlas, they created a family. Their marriage gave birth to 7 beauties, the Pleyanok sisters.
