The Pleiades in ancient Egypt were called the Seven Fates. They foretold the fate of each newborn child. In India, they were the mothers of the hero Agni, and ruled the period of Kali Yuga.
In Chinese mythology, the Pleiades had two aspects - war and criminal offenses.
⁉️ untimely⁉️death. By this they were associated with misfortune.
