As some of you may have read, I restarted my Splinterlands journey and am enjoying discovering some of the updates and changes that have occurred. One of them is rewarding players going up the ranks immediately, as opposed to at the end of the season (not sure how long ago that got changed).
After being frustrated about some matches, I finally was able to increase my rank to Gold 2. I got lucky with the last battle, as the opponent did not join the match, but hey, it still counts.
I do not have enough SPS staked for the 10x multiplier for this tier. I did for Gold 3, but it rises quickly. I will have to work on this. Is it worth it?
So 8 minor chests and 5 major chests this time. 13 in total, compared to 9 in Gold 3, which is a nice increase.
To be honest, this is terrible! I am very disappointed with my luck. 8 Energy is useless, as it recharges automatically. 1 potion in 2 chests is a shame. That's 6 chests out of 13 with very disappointing content. The merits are ok, and the 4x Meerput Slingers are the highlight.
Was I just unlucky, or should I decrease my expectations'
