I hope this season finds everyone doing well. I just wanted to send you all a Merry Christmas from @dzigbordi and I. It has been a busy one for me working at the hotel we are fully booked for the weekend. I also spent any free time I had this week dealing with my annual immigration renewal.
Dzigbordi and I will be getting married next month. We will be going to the north of the country to Tamale, where we will do the traditional engagement and then go to the courthouse. My parents are flying in from the US also so there is plenty to do and a lot of expenses.
Taking that into consideration and that I am working today there is not too much of a celebration for us this year. But I went diggin through my pictures to see what I could find for some past year.
Here is this years picture to start with.
Unknown childhood years family pictures for the llama farm in Eastern Oregon, I am the blond boy:
Other childhood Christmas':
My first bike.
Setting up an ant farm with my Uncle who died 2 years ago from ALS. I really miss this guy.
From there I really don't have many pics until I started using a camera phone and moved to Ghana.
2013 My first year living permanently in Ghana. I was recruited to be Santa for a children's School. They were very happy to have a white Santa.
I then took a trip by myself to the Western Region to enjoy some beach time and surfing.
Getting ready to leave the bus station.
Some shots from the beach community where I was.
2015 I really don't remember what I did all I have is this bucket full of fish.
2015, I didn't find it too memorable but I think I went to a play from my photographic record.
2016 I went to India and met my mom, sister, my sister's fiance and his family. We went to Goa, then spent Christmas in Mumbia. Lots of good food and fun.
2017 I was visiting my home town in Eastern Oregon, and then I went on a ski trip with my mother, sister, her husband and a good friend from my University days. We stayed a good part of the week at a airbnb in McCal Idaho. We skied, eat well, and soaked in hotsprings.
The next year was 2018 I did dinner with some friends. They just happened to all be girls from all over the world.
And then I did tacos with a friend on Christmas day.
2019 was a wonderful different Christmas. I spent it with my father, my sister and her husband camel trekking in the Sahara desert in Morocco.
In 2020 I was managing a lounge and night club and didn't have time to do anything including taking a picture it looks like.
