This is a picture from an open market in Chungli, Taiwan. It’s for a photography contest. Here is the link of your are interested. This weeks subject is green.
While the subject is very broad to say the least, it’s a good challenge. Luckily, my family wanted to go to an open market to pick up some food and have lunch. What a perfect chance to look for green things.
The first picture is 山蘇 also known as bird’s nest fern or Asplenium antiquum. I prefer the first. It’s a delicious dish.
Honestly, trees came to mind first. But since there were no trees around, I found this cacti. I thought this would make a good subject.
I love these. They always remind me if some alien life form. But they are cabbage sprouts that occur after the cabbage has been harvested.
I never heard of that dish. It looks like a rolled up leaf, but what's in it?
Thanks for joining the #pobphotocontest
It’s just a rolled up vegetable. That’s what they look like before and after cooking. Nothing inside. Thanks for the comment. !ALIVE !PIZZA
