To crop or not to crop? I like it in 16:9, how about you?

New POB photocontest with subject: Colourful inspired me to do a qucik Darktable edit of a blue unknown flower to me, and i wanted to share my workflow.

Anyway, photo was taken in afternoon with harsh sun, and built in flash on Nikon d610 with white paper as a flash diffuser, Tokina 100mm macro lens was used at 1:1 ratio at f/11 and 1/200.

Raw image was a little underexposed so i used Darktable to correct it to my taste.

Color zones enhanced lightness and saturation on blue

Tweaked color balance to my taste, applied auto lens corrections, and profiled denoise.

If anyone could identify this flower it would be very appreciated!

I think this is a willow gentian flower plant.

A nice entry picture.

Thank you, it looks like it is.

Wiki says: "Gentiana asclepiadea, the willow gentian, is a species of flowering plant of the genus Gentiana in the family Gentianaceae, native to central and eastern Europe from primarily mountain (montane) woodland"
