I don't know man, in retrospect, maybe I should've been a little bit worried about the blockchain being halted and the standard tweet of Steemit team. But right then I wasn't, not even a bit. :)
On the identifying the problem and fixing it, these guys and the few top witnesses involved (I would like to know who they were these witnesses!) were awesome! Not all witnesses reacted as well as they should've however.
What I wish for the future, maybe a status page to be shown on Steemit. And if they want to update on Twitter, that's fine, just send people to their Twitter account, but regular users shouldn't be left wondering and pray to potential mis- or disinformation, if they don't know where to look or don't even realize what's going on. It's a necessary step BEFORE mass adoption.
Yeah they did handle it as smoothly as possible. And I'm seeing a lot more communication with steemit inc and the platform via blogs and twitter...I'm chalking it up as growing pains and praying it doesn't happen again LOL
