I have to credit Joe for introducing me to the world of podcasting. I have been listening to podcasts for a few years now and I think that I have learned the most about podcasting and different people from Joe's podcast. I will be forever in debt to Joe for introducing me to a plethora of new ideas and different things to think about. Rogan certainly has earned his spot at the top of my podcast list as I easily have spent more time listening to his show than any of the others.
Tangentially Speaking

I like Chris's podcast because he offers some balance to the woo that Joe can bring with some his podcasts. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of the woo if it isn't too over the top. Tangentially Speaking has been one of my favorites and I do really like the TOMA and ROMA additions that he does. Definitely worthwhile to check out.
Duncan Trussel Family Hour

Duncan is the man. What else can I say? His unique brand of humor has certainly grown into its own over the past couple years. The opening rants at the beginning of each podcast are my favorite thing about his show. I like to listen to Duncan when I'm really looking for a dose of woo. Love his stuff.
Infinite Monkey Cage

This podcast has been a fun one to listen to because they do a good job trying to make boring subjects entertaining. Bryan Cox has a unique ability to talk about scientific information in a way that is just as entertaining as it is amazing. In my opinion, he does a much better job than Niel DeGrasse Tyson. Sorry, not sorry.
Cracked

Cracked is awesome. I don't listen to this podcast as regularly but when I do it never disappoints. One of my favorite things about this podcast is the short music clips that are in the show. Whoever they got choosing the music that they put into each episode has a taste I can really dig. Well put together and not overly produced. Spot on in my opinion.
WTF with Marc Maron
![photo](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/http://www.unnameablemedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/photo-300x300.jpg)
Oh, Maron. I can't express how many times I have been watching his show and found myself saying the exact same things and having the same opinions as his. He might be my spirit animal. I'm not sure but I really got into his podcast after I listened to his interview with Robin Williams. Certainly one of the best podcast episodes of all time.
We Study Billionaires - The Investors Podcast
![54893](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/http://www.unnameablemedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/54893-300x300.jpg)
I have just started listening to this podcast recently. I find it very fascinating to listen to anyone that is passionate about a certain subject. These guys do an awesome job breaking down the lives of certain billionaires and what makes them great at what they do and who they are.
Kill Tony

I watch this whenever I'm looking for a good dose of comedy. Kill Tony is awesome. It's basically American Idol for comedians. I like what Hinchcliffe has been able to do with the show and it certainly can be very entertaining at times.
Frank Delaney's Re:Joyce
![re-joyce-cover](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/http://www.unnameablemedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/re-joyce-cover-300x300.jpg)
I have to give huge props to Frank Delaney for sticking with this podcast for the amount of time he has been doing it. To break down line by line the words of Ulysses is certainly a huge task to undertake. I have learned a lot from this podcast about Joyce and Irish culture in general. It might be the Joyce fanboy in me coming out, but this has been a favorite of mine for a while now.
Hardcore History

Dan Carlin is doing the world a service with his Hardcore History podcast. Taking stories that people often think of as boring history and bringing them to life as he masterfully tells the tale of whatever topic he is talking about in the episode. Certainly one of the best podcasts out there today.
Nice picks. Very similar to mine.
I was just searching around to see if there were any other Chris Ryan or Duncan Trussell fans on Steemit.
We should start #ts and #dtfh as tags and gets some discussions going on here. I know there are already groups on reddit and other places, but getting some of them to migrate here could help us all.
i think this is a noble effort steemit needs more diversity in the crazy hippie department
Haha. Agreed. I'm going to start posting some of those podcasts with those tags and see if we can build a little community around them.
I noticed Chris Ryan has a steemit account @dudeinhammock, but he hasn't posted in awhile. I'm going to bug him on twitter to come back. Maybe the fact that his account is now over $1000 will help! ;)
