Poem to my Lost Love

in #poem9 months ago

In the twilight's gentle embrace, she sought her space, My heart ached as she wandered in solitude's grace. Her distant gaze, a constellation lost in the night,
Yet I yearned for her, my love's guiding light.

Her spirit soars on wings of freedom untamed, While I stand rooted, longing for the love we once claimed. The stars above bear witness to my pining heart,
A symphony of whispers, a love that won't depart.

In the canvas of memories, we painted our dreams, But now she craves distance, or so it seems. I miss her laughter, the touch of her hand, The way she'd understand, and help me understand.

Yet I'll give her the space because she needs to find her way, For true love lets go when the heart's voice calls away. And in this quiet pause, I'll cherish memories we share, Knowing love's flame burns strong, though she's not there.

The seasons will turn, and time will heal,
As I learn to embrace this empty, longing feel. For when two hearts are meant, they'll find their place, In the vast expanse of love's eternal space.

I miss her, but it's all for the best, thanks sooooo much for reading through my post once again, keep being amazingly wonderful guys.
