A person,
A pencil,
A perception.
I.
A person
A perception
Drawing
mirrors on
doorways to infinity
with a silver
paint pen.
Falling in
feathersoft glass
through the mirror
sketched sun
with a gold
paint pen.
A person
A perspective
Writing
blankness on
a midnight canvas
without a
pen.
II.
A pen
A punishment
A puncture
A penetration
A
Carving,
coiling
continuously
sinuous
through
sterility
(a fixation
inflamed.)
An insertion
An insurgence
An enemy
An animal
III.
A being
A beast
A behemoth
Lurching over a
glinting city
Our precious avalanche
Our home of
aspiration
& steel.
A crowd
A crown
A crescent
Sloping into a
glowing maelstrom
that luscious horror
Our vision of
lurid
perfection.
A person,
A pencil,
A perception.

This is a great post...I appreciate the writing and the pictures....as poets we understand that the pencil is an extension of our souls and vision....I love it!
@d-pend the pencil is an extension of our body, that helps us extend our knowledge, free it up, and share it with the world to contribute and make it better. Same as STEEMIT is helping power and control to go from banks and governments to the hands of people, that is very it belongs to. Thanks @d-pend for sharing your newest poem creation. Upvoted. @gold84
We can only be free if we have free perception. The pencil gives us the power to determine our destiny and to become a person who is worthy of respect.
Thanks for your continued support and for adding your perspective @dobartim!
