They believe our spit smells like long lasted stagnant water,
Our riches were compared with that of European commoners,
Our strength is our weakness, we are used like the expensive collateral,
Gone are those days when the the deadly swamp was our friend,
When our black glowing skin was tested with blood because of unreasonable offense,
When those innocent veins were cut for us to confess,
God bless our forefathers for facing those duress.
When freedom was a privilege and not a right,
When the only language we understood is hard work and to fight,
And the expression of our D. N. A is with fright,
The feets dances for the re-invigoration of liberty,
Laughter found its bosom after mammoth task from the origin,
Legacy were made but who will grace its perpetuity,
Together we should understand their perplexity for better unity of posterity.
