Nighttime
Waveless sea slept in cold and hazy night
And the fine sky strewn the evening delight
Then crickets mellowed in the soundless air,
A deep inanity showcased despair.
Leaves and twigs solemnly frozen in vain
And the spider's web caught the droping rain
Crumpled every thread he placed before dusk,
It's another time to be spent in cask.
The moon shone overhead this gloomy place
But shrouded a shadow that razed this peace
Impaired the mind of the upright being,
Crushed and stirred his thought of understanding
For this nighttime foretold such mystery,
Typified the path of the green journey
