"A Better Tomorrow"

My desire is to start over here in this deceitful world
I do not know where my plea will lead
Can there be a better tomorrow for me?
Can I overcome life's trials?

There are many questions but few clarifications
How can I answer things that I don't think?
I need clarity on things that are vague
Open my heart to feel the truth

If the eye cannot see the future
Thought is obscured by what the eye sees
Close your eyes and feel everything around you
You will also understand why you need to pass the test

I want to get out of the mud that engulfs my being
Get on the ground and continue my journey
I hope I can meet him and I hope he remembers me
The past is dark but the future is bright.
