I've been dreaming of a tomorrow where I can be free
To see beyond what the future holds for me to take
A silver lining that provides sustenance to my dying soul
The new energy that will fill my life will enthusiasm about life

Counting the days that passed reminds me about the lonely journey
We are not in control of what the future holds
But we have the choice of direction to take in the wilderness of life
Not all will agree on us about the dreams that we want to pursue

To keep it to yourself is a mindful decision to make
The never ending expectations from you will only bring you sorrow
Don’t be affected by the randomness of events
You will miss the important things that will happen to your journey

In this dark path that you chose to walk on
You will need a guiding light that will show you the right way
Expand your horizon to what lies beyond what your eyes can see
Don’t let the limitations chain you away from your destiny.
