August spills the end of summer
From it’s fragile clutches
And pools like broken glass
Shimmering with the last heated days
The monsoon drenches and flees
Never enough rain
To wash away
The haze of summer
Never enough rain for this desert
August opens to September
Unfolding and unraveling
The desert’s only taste of green
With more ash, brown, and dust
And autumn beckons with open palms
To tuck your days into the bed of night
With the ease of ever dimming light
Enjoyed it a lot. This gave me good idea for maybe some kind of collaboration here on Steemit. How can I contact you?
Flawless shot & beautiful words.
