Just The Begining

I don't know where this is heading
But I like where we're getting
No sense of direction
Just coasting on connection
Enjoying the ride
And going with the vibe
This feels so nice
A cool part of life
I don't know why we met
Well at least not yet
But I definitely believe that
There is some sort of reason
I'm sure time will explain
Just how you came
And why I just accepted
When normally I'd have protested
See I know this might sound strange
But I was craving self change
I'd planned to try new things
On the next person life brings
You happened to be the one
That I caught on that run
And I had no idea no way
That you might be here to stay
Though I'm curious for answers
I know none of it matters
Not every single quest
Has to have destination preset
Gotta let the overthinking go
Just relax into the flow
And let this thing grow
Into whatever it's meant to be
What I do know now
Is I like hanging around
Here on this middle ground
Between what has been and could be found
Oddly comfy in this place
And though it's not quite safe
This beginning stage
Is one I'm happy to embrace
