A Demonstrator's Poem

I'm a demonstrator
Chased and haunted by poverty
Up to heart deep
The lost in the dark

I'm a demonstrator
Against death
Against misery
Against rejection

I'm a demostran
Who holds a shabby poster
Standing on a circular monument
Be part of the person who refuses to keep quiet

In front of thousands of people,
Demonstrators shouted:

We are tears
We are braying wild horses
We are lifeless

Again, I emphasize:
On a line,
I'm a demonstrator
Youth who will fight the wind
Who is ready to betray death
And swear on the cuss

From a distance I see,
It still seems to be left
a piece of independence
a piece of suffering
and a piece of resistance

I am (still) the demonstrators
and said in a whisper:
"This is not free"
(came the sound of gunfire and the demon fell from above the ruler's building)
