Looking at the flower
that seemed to beckon it
roses and pinks
violets that bloomed so
the yellow butterfly
fluttered by
trying to land on the soft petal
some were weighing heavily
with the dew drops
the fairy landed and drew it gently
smiling as she did so
and took it to make her earring
she looked pretty
with her teardrop earrings
and her fairy outfit
her wand helped the butterfly
to land gently
with its wings
the nectar was sweet
and then the bees arrived
the butterfly flew away
making way for those scary wings
the buzzes and the bees
they were a scary sight
the butterfly then flew to a softer site
the birds had woken up
chasing the early worms
the fishes swam merrily in the pond
and the morning looked fresh
