Pulaski+DDR

in #poems6 years ago

{"Class struggle: external peace, international solidarity, peace among peoples. This is the sacred slogan of international socialist democracy that liberates nations" - Karl Liebknecht. "I will never leave my men behind, however, when it comes between life and death, it is better for thousands to live and one to die instead of vice versa" - Casimir Pulaski. "Unconsciously we all have a standard by which we measure other men, and if we examine closely we find that this standard is a very simple one, and is this: we admire them, we envy them, for great qualities we ourselves lack. Hero worship consists in just that. Our heroes are men who do things which we recognize, with regret, and sometimes with a secret shame, that we cannot do. If everybody was satisfied with himself, there would be no heroes" - Mark Twain... Poems for just two of the many topics I have high regard for. Even if they were not wholly perfekt and full of criticism, they need to be still upheld in high regard to the achievements done in World History. Let’s never forget just some of the heroes of World History: Field Marshal Casmir Pulaski and the DDR... No music-aides for today, mayhaps some DDR (German Democratic Republic) musicry along with Warsawianka.}

Field Marshall Pulaski
Polish Revolutionary!!!!~
Pulaski, Pulaski, hey ho!
Lead the troops, hey ho!

Field Marshall Pulaski
shall help sweep some
Anglos-n-Brits troops
as he terrorizes them!

Field Marshall Pulaski
shall show the British
why Poles never give up
even when Poland falls!

Field Marshall Pulaski
angry as the Polish Mercs
some odd three decades
later would be as well!

Field Marshall Pulaski
shows why you should
let Poland exist and not
let it be conquered up!

Field Marshall Pulaski
died a cheap death! Lo!
He would've had done
secured Poland by now!

Field Marshall Pulaski,
Polski rewolucjonista!
Field Marshall Pulaski,
keep riding into battle!

My Fatherland Niemcy!
How yah been stripped
of yer honours-n-glories
since the '89 "Berlin Wall!"

How they rapidly sought
to take down anything
and everything Prole
for the Proletariat!

To then blame the Stasi
as the evildoer villains
when clearly 'twas not
as y'were forc'd 'to Hell!

But damnit I must say:
You've helped the Proles,
payed back the war reps
and established Socialism!

Two things: The only few explicitly non-Communist hero I would ever exonerate would be Casimir Pulaski; also Niemcy (DDR) needs some good motherpeckin’ lovin’ here!
