LOST STARS
Where do stars go
in the morning light?
They fall to the sea
like diamonds so bright
They shimmer in splendour
they rock-a-bye
Slowly meander
like a lullaby
But softly they pine
for their piece of sky
A home where the clouds
are the beds they lie
They wait for their turn
as the sun shines bright
To finally return
in the pale moonlight
