Lonely reflections as I gaze in the waters,
A rippled figurine stares back.
Standing still as time streams by,
Piecing together the mind clutters.
Paint brush of goosebumps on skin,
Slow exhales of dense clouds.
Its a cold world out there,
Deep scars of the original sin.
It only takes forever to chase a shadow,
To stare into the face of the deep.
A moment of blink and tiring eyes,
A waiting thief steal bits of the soul.
There is still much to be done,
I reached too deep and lost myself.
What happens when you lose a soul,
I am left to a Cold abandon.
