I am that person
With a need to fix your everything Despite what it takes from me.
I would give of me all there is.
But I am a pill
A drug
An addiction
One that's always been hard to break.
I'm sweet to swallow
But don't forget that bitter after taste.
And when there is nothing left of me to give

Because really I didn’t fix anything.
