The last whisper!
It was just another day,
With the sun looking up
And the birds flying away;
Yet something was amiss,
He tried hard to figure it out
Then again, it was his futile practice.
What is it, he screams;
His voice was loud
Yet nobody heard him, it seems!
Am I doing it wrong again,
He asks and ponders;
Finally ignorance will end its reign.
A faint whisper creaks through;
You are Done!
And curtly came a reply, Says Who?
Wake up, someone shouted close-by,
It was so real, yet transient; but
He couldn't stop thinking WHY!
The day is ominous; he thought
The strange fear refuses to leave him;
Was he heading for a drought?
He brushed aside these unfounded fears;
And continued on his chores,
May he find solace in something not fierce!
