Hello Steemians! The ADSactly Poetry : Lucid Lyrics Designed to Expand Minds series is designed to be a sort of platform for sharing some of my greatest works with @adsactly readers.
Many of the verses I've shared and continue to share were written in collaboration with a friend of mine.
Others were written as solo projects and some made their way to the recording booth.
I find that collaboration brings many benefits most of which revolve around having someone to bounce ideas off of and sort of be challenged to pick up where the other has left off.
I've got another special piece for @adsactly readers today, this verse represents some of my earliest work with creating lyrics. It is literally taking several steps back in time.
I really hope readers enjoy this piece and let me know what they like about it.
Lyrics From the Lab of Doom : Blurry Vision - Part 1
Bright lights of interrogation facing a critical situation with implications of devastation...
Pay attention to what's at stake here don't shed those tears // flesh
searing in a pan sizzling surreal everything turns to pixels digital...
No longer physical this moment was pivotal...
As the world spins upside down and around counterclockwise theres no surprise a web of lies each scandal tied to the next..
Cursed hex instead of blessed just a child innocent now splittin wigs and makin hits puttin back 1/5ths of the hen and the belvie that sticky green's what ya smellin'
Not much to be said about who we ever was and really do give a what...
Try to get up in my business concrete boots more food for the bottom feedin fish...
Insomnia the real late night tip get ready set fire see these blunts all lit
Blazed blowin rings of smoke in a haze figure a way through this capitalistic maze lies mixed with falsehood amountin to deceit take that business apply it to the streets check my credentials fools crazy in the mental cold hearted playas doin battle.
My Thoughts on This Verse
This verse really takes me back to the past. It takes me back to a time which is quite foreign to the person I am today. Its interesting how creative work can act as a sort of a window into a different you.
The person we are today is probably not the person that we were a decade or two decades ago. Sure we carry the same name but the way we see life, the lense we look through and our perception of the world is often drastically different.
For better or worse the words above show a different me and its best to just accept that fact.
No matter what, I'd very much like to know your thoughts and feelings about this verse so if you liked it or didn't like it, I'd love to hear your opinion either way!

We are an accumulation of experiences that have shaped us. Some of us learn from the teachings of life, but for others life repeats the lesson; they are those who run through life without direction, without a north.
At my young age (27), with my beloved princess, I am an emigrant in Argentina; I have had to learn quickly and take safe steps, for my own sake and that of my little one.
When we were children we played many tings include make role as a family. There was a mother father and children. We gave the role and task to everyone.
Now if we remember it we want to come back to that time. And now we are older and more mature. We can smile wen we remembered about our childhood.
Thank you @zentalk. I enjoy this verse
thank you @adsactly

Warm regard from Indonesia
"Blurry vision" seems to me a very suggestive title for your poem, @zentalk. It is blurry not only because it presents us with moments seen through time, which blurs things, but also because a certain surrealistic style makes it so.
I liked this fragment: "As the world spins upside down and around counterclockwise theres no surprise a web of lies each scandal tied to the next..."
Life is made up of setbacks, contradictions, falsehoods, in its course. A vision that tries to glimpse is perhaps the right thing to expect.
What we were will always go with us, even if it's in the memory. Looking back as we walk makes us see how far we have come and how far we have walked. When we review what we were, sometimes we find ourselves with an I different from the present I, but that if we had not been able to get to where we are. There is no better way to find that I than through the letters, through what we write. Perhaps what hurt us before is now a simple healed wound. Thanks for sharing your texts, @zentalk
