Heart's day has marked the calendar Others contemplate themselves There is also that resentful population Few are distressed and troubled Fools are they who don't even know the true nature of love It is about caring and thanking
People big and small are busy giving cards
Sending diabetic chocolates or bouquets of sweet splendor
To someone that have been making them feel loved
"Why don't I have a romantic date?"
Others sit and watch couples' lovey-doveys
Others stay home and sleep the whole day
Who are very sour to love letters and romantic couples
Who curse themselves for not having a partner
And always mutter "I am not bitter"
What fancy clothes to wear
Unaffordable presents in mind to give
The classiest reservations to spend the night with
It is not just about amorous nights and glamorous dinners
Nor the gigantic teddy bears their saved allowance has paid
But rather giving love to those who need it and those who don't
For the raw, uncompromising feeling they've given
Through the stormy and sunny days of the year
That is, my friend, love
Good day everyone and Happy Valentine's Day :) Don't be sad because you are loveless this day. Remember, you are not loved less. Remember to do an act of love this day because that is the essence of this day. Spend time with your family and friends, for they are the everlasting love no chocolates or partners could take.
