Its almost midnight and my birthday is about to be over
I kept on staring at my phone waiting for a call
Staring outside and wish they would show up
Still waiting and looking yet no one comes
The people whose side you did not leave
For whom you were there when they said "I need you"
Whose birthdays I kept preparing and making it memorable
All I wished was their love and happiness
It's dark, cold and gloomy
Seems like the world knows my agony
All I ever wanted was only a call
