It is difficult question. As far as i can tell, religion for me is matter of trying rather than certainty. See, as much as he was trying to establish idyllic family and societal life, Joseph Smith was literally haunted by many, and he was mirred with family-related controversies. And yet, he came out with some fresh ideas, nevertheless, like Mormon version of creation, or temple based Mormon rituals, both of them still play important role in lives of millions of LDS church members. Some of whom do have harmonious family/societal lives exactly because they follow LDS church principles.
L. Ron Hubbard died alone, almost mad, and basically in the wilderness. He was unable to cure himself, and caused enourmous suffering to many of his followers. And yet, there are still prominent critics of Church of Scientology, who still follow some of Scientology, those so-called independent scientologists, right. So, some could claim that there is limited workability of Scientology.
Religion is strange proccess. Or strange art, which escape clear delimitations and definitions.
Thank you for visiting my blog (which is how I found myself over here, of course).
I very much enjoyed this ponder of a poem and would love to see the Polish version. Perhaps in future posts you could post both the Polish and English translation together?
Welcome. I like simplicity of those your poems i have read.
Thank you. This particular poem does not have Polish version as of now, i have written it in English (but lets see, of course). When it comes to vast majority of my Polish poems, they are incredibly difficult to translate. Some even deem them an impossible to translate.
Okay, good, I was not sure if there had been an original version (in Polish). It does seem that many translations, especially of poetry lose something along the way.
very nice! I wonder how far you could go with the lesser-known profits of the other religions?
prophets* lol
Mistakes are quite often immensely poetic, arent they?
prophets for profits ;)

Yes. But still i recollect some good translations of Celan into Polish, Celan being very hermetic poet.
Yes, however, he was a talented translator also.
Yes. Did you hear about Polish poets Tymoteusz Karpowicz and Krystyna Miłobędzka?
No.... looking them up.
They are so deeply rooted in intricaties of Polish language. Though, i will always attempt to try render them, promise :) .
