POSTCARD POETRY-
This is a photograph I took in a small town near where I live. I loved the subtle color and simplicity of shapes. What struck me most however was the ghostly interior surfaces that were now on the exterior. I thought it would be a perfect background for one of my postcard poems.
A palimpsest is a manuscript or piece of writing material on which later writing has been superimposed on effaced earlier writing. It is this idea of layers of writing that caused me to title this poem, “Palimpsest.”

Nice poem. But can we get the picture of the small town you talked about or shed more light on the building you talked about because i find it difficult to interpret what you meant by the interior of the wall
Picture two buildings attached, then tear one building down. This makes what was once an interior wall, now an exterior wall. Thanks for your interest.

STOPLearn something new every day. Great idea again here. Definitely different again from the original "postcard", Which is both great and weird. You keep inventing new styles while posting from this series haha I'm not too sold on the digital manipulation for this though, but the idea is nice. Would've been great if the manipulation was physical.
Thanks, you are right about the manipulation, but I was in a hurry. I want to go to dafont.com and get some eroded fonts.
