Naturally, a smile depicts happiness, joy and amusement but then, it can go way more than just showing positive emotions to hiding negative emotions like sadness, depression, cruelty, envy and distress. Have you ever tried to picture people smiling ? Don't you wonder if people smile because they want to or because they just need a camouflage?
sometimes, behind that smile lies a broken heart.

Dear Happiness, I miss you genuinely
It's been way too long without you
Yes my face beams,
Yes they call me smiles
But no, it's a farce, I lie
My heart knows her not
My heart is heavy but my lip's weightless
I push her forth with a choice
a choice to fake the light,
While I find it within
The world shan't know
Not deceit, but she mustn't know
My struggles, my pain
a smile for the world, positivity
Some day, genuinely she'll come
That red cheek will be gone
Unforced, She will stay
A smile true to the heart...
