I watch the orange ball hide in the horizon.
In my head, I froze its dome.
My eyes scanned what's left of the lit zone.
Shadows played in the corner aching to roam.
Fear? or excitement? either is known.
It is a big show a daylight's curtain call.
The sky later on turned crimson red.
The dark this time in the light's stead.
As though on queue a howl started.
Deep in the night, what's felt is dread.
Take a deep breath don't cover your head.
This also will pass as the cycle will not end.
Good evening dear readers in hive.
How are you all tonight?
