S.O.S.

I close my eyes to try to rest,
It is impossible
The memory of the recent happy past.
it hurts incessantly
For the kidnapping of our integrity.
I open my eyes again
live the day
It also hurts to see the white neck that until recently had a neck full of dirt.
They are displayed on imported vehicles
of the latest models.
-The country no longer produces them.
Famous designers of clothes dress them.
The technological devices that have not yet reached the market seem like a war trophy.
They do not mind seeing families separated,
Or the bones of people who dance without muscle mass.
From the land that was once rich
we call for solidarity
For brothers in strange lands.
We lie in darkness,
without light or water like ace centuries ago.
Today is for us, tomorrow may be for you.

This one shook me man. But as my grandmother always said: "Nothing lasts." Keep writing my friend.

Thanks friend, sorry for the delay in responding. The country had 48 hours without electricity. There are already 3 general blackouts throughout the country. The first lasted 72 hours. It is due to the lack of maintenance in 20 years of the hydroelectric plant that supplies power to almost the entire country.
