Grrrrr, the last thing to do is to get discouraged... do not even dare to go there!!
Find yourself some mentor, someone to follow and learn from. There are many, many good Steemians that already have knowledge and experience but who are still hungry for new friends and followers. I think it will be best for you to find other writers, contact them by comments and directly ask for help and guidance. You will find out that majority of Steemians are extra nice and supporting.
Also, there are many special support groups, sites, apps, boots, everything!
Please look for example at this one:
https://steemit.com/minnowsupportproject/@discordiant/registration-tutorial-msp-palnet
I haven't registered there yet, but I surely will.
Of course, there are plenty of ways to see everything and more what is going on in your Steemit account,
and this is just a tip of an iceberg.
for example on this site here: https://steemd.com/@pltorres
As to me, besides the friendly and knowledgeable guidance from newly met friends, such as from @mariannewest and @orlandoj, I found the articles from one of the new Steemit witnesses, @jerrybanfield, extremely thorough and practical. I think you too will benefit from reading his new Steem Guide: https://steemit.com/guide/@jerrybanfield/introducing-steem-guide
I just uncovered Jerry's posts last night, (couldn't stop reading till late at night), and I am sure that there are many, many more articles and many, many more authors still waiting for me to be found.
So, I wish you happy finding too and happy reading, and happy learning and happy growing as a Steemit author.
(now I go to my intro post and finally reply to your comment there, especially your question about JSE coin ;-)
