The little Swarovski boom box glints in the dark,
Gentle and mellifluous music cascades out truthful and stark,
A smile plays on our lips, for the keys tap our sense,
The bass finds its way into our hearts, intense,
The voice entices us to keep listening although lulling our reflexes,
There’s so much music all over existence, our mind muscle flexes,
Strings twang our nerves at the end of the day,
We want to jump out of our comfort zone and sway,
But the sun has played a trick on our eyes that gravitate,
Where two shorelines merge to draw a curtain, mind to sedate,
We are pulled down by gravity as ears become open conch shells beached,
You and I drift into a void of astral spheres where we’ve reached,
Waters lap gently now having been pulled by currents strong,
When the day is done everything calms down and there’s no right or wrong!
