I passed by a rose garden
I tried to cultivate mine but got weed
I saw a couple down the street
I desired love but got heartbroken
I felt down and thought life was cruel to me
I stopped believing in myself
I found a friend on my darkest night
She taught me things I was ignorant of
I stood up and learnt to walk again
I saw the world in a brand new light
I believe I will fly someday
Because learning is now a part of me
Amazing
Thanks
I can truly relate to this. The three stanzas are three steps we take on our way to finding happiness, to building our own path as you so beautifuly put it, and I currently am on the second. Those dark nights you speak of are so tough, but once we surpass them and see through the mist, we will only go on to grow and find, or create, our own happiness.
Thanks so much, I really appreciate you reading through it
this is beautiful. the end part is especially inspiring.
Thanks so much
Thats is deep and thoughtful, keep steeming
Nice one dear

Life is really a hurdle. Coming to terms with the harsh reality of life is one hell of a task. The very thought of it is scarring but the ending part of the poem, leads me to believe that there is a light glistening unceasingly at the end of the tunnel.
Yes, there is indeed Iight at the end of every tunnel
That is butterfly.
