Dressed up for shopping
Something delightful
The normal diurnal event
Wore a new outfit
From a heart so baleful
The stifling thought flowed
It went straight to the air
Invaded the machine birds
They took off and bilk
The unwary, peaceful ones who walk
Within the luxury of the atmosphere
Of the twin towers holding
Peoples gathered from all
The angles of the earth
Within a twinkle of an eye
The twin lofty towers
Robed in fire
Peoples in helter skelter
From somewhere to nowhere
Moving rooms escalated no more
They metamorphosed
Into cremating boxes
Smoke kisses the sky
The noon time turned to night
" This is the end of the world "
People surmised
The atrocity perpetrated
By the being that had been laden
With evil that seemed unending
Rejoice not, you evil one
Your existence will not endure
You will be at last entombed
Forever.
