Thanks, @dswigle! So many people are touched by Lyme in the states and all over the world. So many of them go under the radar, being misdiagnosed until this illness wreaks havoc into their bodies. The fact that you want to do more is admirable! Trust me, your cousin and friends are lucky to have you around.
It is so widespread now and yet, so little is known and the public remains uneducated unless touched by the hand of it.
