I in-haled you

And wanted just you

Breathing was a pain

Without you near

Sun-light breaks through

Sombre skies

But dark-ness resides

In the depth

Of the wailing seas

You are an Un-tamed ocean

Depth-less

Fathom-less

Love-less

With a constant changing tide

How can my heart rest in yours?

For every breath I take

You make it agony for me

Now I am done needing

I am done breathing

And I am done

Needing Oxygen

You were my air

But you are the core of darkness

You claim to be born of light

And origin-ed from love

You took me to the clouds

And I breathed sweet you

Life was you

My Oxygen was you

And the craziest I ever did

Was needing you the way I did

Now I gasp for breath

Now I kneel before the fire

And weep myself to sleep

But I am done needing you

I am done breathing

And I am done

Needing Oxygen

In a mist so thin and icy

I have known love

And dark-ness

And lonesome-ness

For heavens succour me

I wake up this morning

Refreshed
