🐩THE LONG WALK HOME !!!🐩

Silence !

Terrifying  loneliness !

Drowning  shadows  in  hazy  light

Bumpy  and  slippery  paths

Rolling  tears  and  im-paired  dreams

The  moon  refuses  to  smile

The  stars  withhold  their  shine

Is  there  no  end  in  sight ?

As  I  drag  my  lazing  feet

It's  a  long  walk  home

To  stars  in  the  day  sky

To  a  residence  of  ecstasy

It  is  a  chilly  night

In  the  bowels  of  darkness

Pain  pouring  as  rain

Dark-ness  seeking  to  engulf

Many  shapes  of  differing  scars

Have  I  travelled  this  route ?

Have  I  travailed  on  this  path ?

In  care-free  innocence ,  yes !

But  now  memories  locked  away

Buried  in  the  deep vault  of  my  heart

Just  a  few  more  steps

And  the  long  walk  home

Will  lead  me  there

The  thudding  sound  of  the  night

Echoes  sharply  in  my  ears

The  hours  fade  slowly

Into  the  depth  of  the fleeing  time

Loneliness  is  but  a  solace

And  then  I  see  the  lighted  path

Of  pure  white  flames

At  the  front  door  was  you

Like  a  million  glittering  diamonds

I  rush  into  open  arms

Of  waiting  heaven

And  let  the thousand  strings  of  my heart

Be  pulled  in  one  perfect  symphony

It  was  a  long  walk  home

But  worthwhile  was  every  step

THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY MY NEIGHBOURHOOD 💙💜💛💚💛💜💚

It's a great creative drawing I love it .....

Wonderful art work with well articulated poem to go with and pass the message clear in writing. Please keep it up.

Thank you so much. You are kind

Beautiful <3

Thank you so much

My dear, your neighbourhood was quite accommodating. Your persona long walk was guided by the celestials and therefore must bear the brunt of loneliness. That's exactly how it is with Christians. Most of them feel lonely without knowing that Christ is leading them on the long walk.
Beautiful work.

Thank you dear, I am so happy you could relate with the poem

A beautifully written poem.

And let a thousand strings of my heart
Be pulled in one perfect symphony
It was a long walk home
But worthwhile was every step

I love these lines!
