I wonder if you care
And that wonder binds me to you
I wonder if you reflect:
It’s been six months since “I love you.”
When I define the Nothingness that has become
My slow walk through life without you
I can’t help but wander, wondering
How did I become this?
This person...
Bewitched.
In which
Another part of me wonders:
Why wouldn’t you want to be this person?
Afflicted, questioning, living
This torrid walk; the nomad’s desert
Drowns the subject--
Reinvents the memories that bind me to you
If there is no other fortune,
There is this notion:
All Good is born out of the knowledge of Evil.
To be forever separate, forever free is a burden I asked you
Not to give to me.
But how could you not?
I approached the Sun in your chest too quickly
