This is my submission for day 4 for the 100 day poetry challenge.
I have out done my own expectations by making it to day four to be honest.
I think my problem in the past was having the time to be over critical. I would construct and deconstruct, scribble ideas on paper late at night that even I couldn't decipher in the morning sometimes. I become obsessed with word selection.
I know editing and drafts will be important as I progress at Steemit school, but for now I just have to find a little bit of flow. My obsession and perfectionism was working against me and preventing anything from escaping my brain.

Here is my poetry submission for today.
The Sky It Is Still Blue.
Colossal misadventure
Proved missing ingredient
Crucial final additive
A forced expedient
Every day we rode these tracks
The same familiar scene
Discontented safe monotony
Til leaning tilting we careen
Disastrous was the derailment
The sorrow you stockpile
Surrounded by the tragedy
Trapped in all that we ensile
Thankfully we made it out
The sky it is still blue
This time we do it all our way
Rats keep your stagnant queue.
Images once again from pixabay. I find this free image source pretty good and easy to use.
I would love to hear about other free image sites. What do you use?
I usually try to use my own art or ammeter photographic images. At the moment my commitment to strain some kind of verse from my brain and post every day has consumed me, so I am very grateful to the artist on pixabay for their work.

Interesting poem. I like how they all seem to be independent of the next and previous but together make something marvelous.
really like the style of your poet, and our way with words. it can be hard to just go for it, I tend to hold back sometimes myself. really hope to see you stick at this.
Greetings friend, your poem is very beautiful and I liked the images, success in this great way you have decided to follow.
This challenge is difficult but on my part I support you.
Learning from our misadventures and becoming stronger is the way. Great write today, GBM:)
Everyday we rode these tracks, why not let us change it, maybe move to a new one, or better still, just go with the flow.
Well, @girlbeforemirror i do personally feel that this contest is actually boosting our level of confidence in terms of writing skills. It is also quite useful to interact with like-minded members on the platform.
You wrote an amazing poem today with attractive theme and these lines just stole my heart, oh Man ;)
Do you use the picture to get in inspiration? Usually, I use the picture to help my imagination works.
