F.R.I.E.N.D.S

For some reason we started being close.
Whatever that reason, I wouldn't know exactly I suppose.
Hanging out with each other, exchanging senseless jokes.
Sleepless nights I don't mind, we chat feverishly without pause.

Remembering those times bring sadness to my core.
Irritated you cast me aside, or is it hatred you bore?
Waiting patiently is the only thing I can do right now.
To make your feelings better, sadly I don't know how.

I know I had cause you a great deal of pain for that I am sorry
I would do anything if you could just please forgive me.
Or would you rather have me do nothing at all?
Just wait for your anger to die like leaves during Fall?

Every wrongs I have done you I sincerely atone.
Kindly hear my plea, feel the sorrow in my tone.
I don't want our friendship to lay to waste, this much is true.
Hear this offer of reconciliation from me, I beg of you.

Now I have stated my case without regrets or a hint of dishonesty
You've heard my side, you can think whatever of me.
All I want is to have my friend back to the way we are before.
Or at least tell me how you feel, unleash that hatred, don't throw away the oars.

Doing this kind of thing is really foreign to me.
I'm not used to pleading I can tell you with all honesty.
But since our friendship is at stake I'll hold no reservations.
I bared it all, I showed you my motive and intentions.

So if ever your feed shows you this post.
Just remember you're always a part of me like a jam to a toast.
Remember how we were before all of this ensued.
Hear my plea, let's make up I beg of you.
