Men who, when in danger,
Are paralyzed with fear,
Incapable of any action,
Having lost the ability to reason,
Are surely not the brave,
Nor are those who, for want of guts,
Run away to escape from danger.
Those who, without much thought,
Confront the danger may be brave,
But usually suffer the result
Of their action and thoughtlessness;
But surely the truly brave,
Are those who would face
The Danger intelligently,
For they often achieve success.
