Blowing the sun away she sighs
Blowing the sun away she sighs
Lying in the stars water fills her eyes
Heaviness smothers all of her cries
A cold night in winter, reminds me of an undisturbed pond. Except for a breeze who carries wants of heavy blankets and familiar company. Moonlight causes the snow to glisten. I stare from my bedroom window into the woods. I feel something unpleasant moving beyond sight. As if long tentacles reach from the pond.
Floating far above all our cracked streets
A painful ringing shows us to our feet
Amid many cold gazes she will close her eyes
I've whispered incomprehensible lies
Blowing the sun away she sighs
Blowing the sun away she sighs
Stuck in the middle of a go-fast-world
We walk complacent with emotionless footsteps
She stays in bed
And pulls the blanket close
That nostalgic scent is what I miss most
My dream was shattered by silence, and a loud painful ringing.
