In a darkened church
At evening
A dark shawl
Covering
Your too bright hair
As you try hard
To be subdued
And fail gloriously
The candles
Spin gold auras
From your tresses
As you pass the votive stand
And slip behind
Confessional curtains
And I go there in my mind
As the panel opens
And you chant your sins
and mine
All the venial trespasses
That can be expiated
By a prayer
But for one dark outlier
Than can’t be banished
So easily
Who watches regrettably
Wishing you free
Not living with somebody
Quite as dark as he.
Charming, and picture is awesome as well
good masterpiece friend
thanks
same with my friends and i will always follow you. because you become a motivation for me.
thanks, but if you really want to be a good curator, pick out something specific from the poem and tell the author why it interested you.

Hi, I really liked your poem greetings from Venezuela you could visit my profile and vote in my last post @johjgeddes
thanks,@yudexisjaume, but the key to success in steemit is not to ask for follows but to make meaningful comments on someone's post that may result in a follow and on-going support. Begging for votes is short-sighted and may get you flagged. Please stop doing this.
I do know my followers - you have been on steemit for nine days now and did not comment until today - How was I supposed to notice you? Re-read my comment to @yudexisjaume about making meaningful comments instead of trying to flatter people.
My bad.....ok thanks i heard
Beautiful painting and your poetry was awesome . I love it.
Thanks for sharing
Namaste
thanks, @lalitswami, but saying a poem is awesome isn't helpful - point out something specific about the poem that you liked. If you notice, I'm not rewarding your spammy short comments
I love this poem. "Outlier"
Poems carries meaning than whats written down, most especially, when its fully understood. and that why I myself love writing poems
why did you single out those lines in particular - what do they mean to you? Be specific when you comment and your curation rewards will increase and you may even attract followers
The world "Outlier" means a detached part from a whole. Something different from others. Thanks @johnjgeddes. I refer to those lines because that's where I got to understand the poem.
Romanians refers to venial as a small, considerable sins that can be make up for. But dark outlier to my understanding from this poem to me, is like a behavior that can be tagged evil, a heavy grave sin, such that can't be easily forgiven.
Meanings are hidden in those words. "Venial" "Expiated" "Outlier" "banished".
